John Laba est pasteur, implanteur d'églises et stratège en mission. John a étudié la sociologie de la communication à l'Université de Lomé, a obtenu un Master of Divinity au Nairobi Evangelical Seminary et un Doctorat en ministère à l'Université Samford de Birmingham, AL. Il a occupé des postes de direction à Compassion International pendant 13 ans, dont celui de directeur de l'Afrique de l'Ouest. John apporte à son rôle un riche bagage de compétences en matière de développement et de ministère.
Director of Enterprises
Tete Nani is a pastor and business leader in Togo. Pastor Nani did his studies at the Baptist West Africa School of Theology in Lomé. He worked for the American Embassy for 20 years. He owns and operates a drivers school in Lomé training young men and women in his kingdom minded business. Nani brings strong spiritual leadership and entrepreneurial skills to our team.
Director of Evangelism
Beni Ben Sessou-Adisseh has worked with SIL-Wycliff as a national director and as a local church pastor. He received degrees from the Université de Lomé in Togo including a Masters in Business Administration. Ben works with churches and pastors, as well as government and business leaders in Togo and West Africa equipping them to disciple people and nations. Ben brings a strong entrepreneurial and ministry background to LPI.
Director of Finance and Administration
Joseph is a Graduate of the Université de Lomé with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He worked as Financial Administrator at Sanlam Insurance Togo. He assists John Laba in his role as CFO. Joseph brings strong financial management and organizational skills to LPI.
Co-founders and Executive Director
Rex and Sherry lived in Togo, West Africa from 1976 to 1984. Although they have been pastoring in Arkansas, California, and Texas these past 35 years, their passion is to work alongside Africans and Americans to disciple nations through evangelistic, educational, and entrepreneurial partnerships. Rex and Sherry have been married for 56 years. Their life long purpose is to know Christ and to make Him known.
Co-Founder and Board President
John is co-founder of Bridge Capital Partners in Ft. Worth, Texas and Vasa Capital, a real estate firm based in Dallas, Texas. John also serves as the Strategic Investment Advisor for the Sub Saharan Opportunity Fund, a private credit fund focused on financing small to medium businesses in Sub Saharan Africa. Anne is a home executive and stay-at-home mom with their three children, Madeline Delali, William Wyatt, and Sophie Elyse.
Tracy grew up on a 1600 acre farm in Saskatchewan, Canada, but currently lives in southern California. He and his wife run a commercial lighting specialist company called Renovise. They are also State Inspectors for the California Energy Commission’s Title 24 program as lighting and lighting controls experts. Tracy has entered into a season of significance and ‘giving back’ by encouraging business people to challenge their limits by finding their true God-given identity.
Rebekah and her husband Nick along with their 3 children live in Ventura, California. Rebekah was given her middle name Mawumenyo by the Togolese when she was born. It means God is good! Her passion is holistic humanitarian work, sharing the love of Christ to all the nations, and she loves having the opportunity to connect and work along side her brothers and sisters in Togo.
Child Sponsorship Coordinator
Alina is from Ventura County and currently lives in Oxnard, CA. She has achieved her dream of becoming a veterinarian and practices Emergency Medicine locally. Although she had a desire to pursue medicine from a young age, she simultaneously had a passion for missions abroad. Her heart is to see “faith expressing itself through love” by simply being the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.
